Welcome to AriesPay ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using our application, payment links, and withdrawal services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

Account Eligibility & Registration

Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old (or possess valid legal consent) to use AriesPay.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials (passwords, PINs, and authentication codes) and for all activities that occur under your account.
Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete details during registration (name, business name, phone number, and verification data).

Services Provided

AriesPay provides financial technology services allowing users and merchants to:

  • Generate digital payment links to receive funds from customers.
  • Maintain an in-app wallet balance.
  • Initiate withdrawals to supported mobile money providers or bank accounts.

Fees and Billing

Payment Link Generation: Creating payment links and receiving money via payment links is free of charge.
Withdrawal Fees: A standard transaction fee of 1% is deducted upon withdrawing funds from your AriesPay wallet to an external mobile money or bank account.
Fee Changes: We reserve the right to modify our fee structure with prior notice displayed in the app or communicated via SMS/Email.

User Conduct & Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AriesPay for:

  • Fraudulent transactions, scams, or illegal sales of goods and services under the laws of Cameroon.
  • Money laundering or financing illicit activities.
  • Attempting to reverse transactions under false pretenses.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of violating applicable financial regulations or engaging in fraud.

Transaction Authorization & Limitations

Irreversibility: Once a payment or withdrawal to an external mobile wallet (e.g., MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money) is successfully executed, it cannot be reversed through AriesPay.
Processing Delays: While most transfers process instantly, network delays from telecommunication partners or banking systems may occasionally delay funds delivery.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, trademarks, and logos associated with AriesPay are owned by AriesPay and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

AriesPay is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We are not liable for:

  • Losses caused by unauthorized access to your account due to negligence with your credentials.
  • Third-party network outages (e.g., telecom infrastructure or mobile money downtime).
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app.

Termination of Account

You may close your account at any time by contacting support, provided all outstanding balances are settled. AriesPay reserves the right to suspend or close your account if you violate these terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cameroon. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Cameroon.

How we collect, use, and protect your data

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide during registration including your full name, phone number, business name, and identity document (CNI/Passport). We also collect transaction data including payment amounts, dates, and mobile money numbers used.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to: verify your identity, process payments and withdrawals, send transaction notifications, provide customer support, and comply with applicable laws in Cameroon.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption, secure authentication, and access controls to protect your personal and financial data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money to process transactions, and with regulatory authorities when required by Cameroonian law.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@ariespay.site to exercise these rights.
